Abstract

This research aimed at presenting structural model of chain relationships of PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT with PERCEIVED JOB STRESS and DEVIANT BEHAVIORs. Research population included all the employees of 19 areas of education office in Tehran, Spring 1392, which from among them, 269 people were chosen based on convenience sampling method. Research instruments consisted of PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT Questionnaire (Eisenberger et al., 1986), PERCEIVED JOB STRESS Questionnaire (Jex & Spector, 1998) and DEVIANT BEHAVIOR Questionnaire regarding organization and employees (Robinson & Bennett, 2000). Data were analyzed using STRUCTURAL EQUATION MODELing (SEM). Findings revealed significant relationship firstly between PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT and PERCEIVED JOB STRESS and then between PERCEIVED JOB STRESS and DEVIANT BEHAVIOR. Moreover, findings showed that PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT firstly decreases the level of stress and then the level of DEVIANT BEHAVIOR.
