Abstract

This research investigated the relationship between JOB STRESS and SOCIAL SUPPORT with JOB SATISFACTION in national oil drilling company. The sample of this research contained 200 personnel that they were selected based on simple random sampling from all male and female national drilling company. The instruments used in this research JOB STRESS scale (IUJSI), SOCIAL SUPPORT of Philips and JOB SATISFACTION scale (JDI). Present research was from correlation type and the results of data analyzed by using person correlation factor and multivariable regression in meaningful level (p<0.0001) Results showed that there was meaningful negative relationship between JOB STRESS and JOB SATISFACTION. There was meaningful positive relationship between SOCIAL SUPPORT and JOB SATISFACTION. Findings showed that there was meaningful multiple relationships between JOB STRESS, SOCIAL SUPPORT and JOB SATISFACTION in national drilling company. Regression analyzed showed that JOB STRESS and SOCIAL SUPPORT alternatively are predicting the JOB SATISFACTION.
