Abstract

The purpose of resent study was investigating the effect of ANGER MANAGEMENT SKILL TRAINING on reduction of impulsive behaviors AND ANXIETY in patients with PTSD. Participants were 22 PTSD veterans (11 in control group and 11 in experimental group) in city of Dezful which selected through available sampling in 1388. Barrett’s IMPULSIVITY Scale and Cattles Anxiety scale were used for collecting data. 7 sessions of 90 minutes ANGER management program were performed on experimental group. After the program, post retest was taken from both groups. Co variation analysis was used and results indicated that there were significant differences between two groups and ANGER management training reduced impulsive behaviors AND ANXIETY in patients with PTSD. The significant level in this study was (p<0.05).
