Abstract

The constitution of the i.r of iran (article 50) explicitly consider to protection of environment as a public duty, but despite these legal clarity, environmental condition is worrying in iran. Otherwise informational and communicational MEDIA have excellent role in education, lifestyle and social behavior modification. This ARTicle is a qualitative and descriptive reaserch that study the role of MEDIA especially MEDIA – ART ANIMATION in ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION and try to investigating the importance of this educational approach to persuasion and encourage the audiences for conservation and development of environment. Although communicational capabilities of ANIMATION is somewhat unknown in our country, but its impress in ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION become every day more explicitly. This ARTicle meanwhile state of ANIMATION features and its produce strategies for ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION, offer to experts of ANIMATION and environment establishe studies toward designing, production and evaluation of educational ANIMATIONs in the field of enviroment and natural resource with formation of joint working groups.
