SURVEY OF RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE WITH WORK FORCE PERFORMANCE

Abstract

 Today, there are lots of economical, political, social and cultural problems at almost every organization. So the work conflicts have been clearer and managers need to some tricks to solve the problems.In this paper we tried to describe EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE and PERFORMANCE concepts and then survey the relationship between them. EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE has 5 indexes: Self-Awareness, Self-Regulation, Self-Motivation, Empathy and Social Skills.After distributing the 2 questionnaires about EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE and PERFORMANCE, their validity and reliability were proven.The results indicate the positive relationship between EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE and all its indexes with PERFORMANCE.Finally the indexes weights were been identified by Entropy technique. The results in the direct order are: Empathy (0.2319), Social skills (0.2259), Self-awareness (0.2132), Self motivation (0.2056) and Self-regulation (0.1234).
