Abstract

Introduction: coronary artery disease leading to death every year a large number of people around the world and a direct relationship with the patient's LIFESTYLE. MILITARY PERSONNEL have a good life style and use of appropriate coping style, resulting in stress reduction and proper management of this class is stressful work situations. The aim of this paper is to examine the relationship between life style and problem-oriented coping style in patients with acute coronary syndrome are MILITARY PERSONNEL.Methods: This study was a descriptive - correlative study that was conducted at the 502 Hospital, Tehran, Iran, in 2015-2016 years.195 MILITARY PERSONNEL suffering from acute coronary syndrome were enrolled and randomly selected. Data gathered by LIFESTYLE questionnaire (LSL) and coping style questionnaire was Endler and Parker. Data analysed using SPSS version 16 and statistical tests of Kolmogorov - Smirnov test, Pearson correlation, and linear regression. Statistically significant less than 0.05 were spot.Results: The results showed a good LIFESTYLE is about 2.69 of the maximum frequency of samples to be allocated; Problem-focused coping style on average about 7.69 percent, the highest frequency of samples to be allocated Conclusion: people with average and good LIFESTYLE are more problem-oriented coping styles used; therefore, the improved LIFESTYLE through proper training is recommended solutions.
