Abstract

Background & Aims: Clinical self-efficacy has a bearing on the future performance of nursing Students for independent care of the patient. One of the most important needs of all Students for proper functioning in learning environments is to improve the sense of belonging and moral intelligence as a guide to clever behavior and actions. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the relationship between moral intelligence and clinical Belongingness with clinical self-efficacy of nursing Students of Urmia nursing and Midwifery Faculty in 2019. Material & Methods: A descriptive correlational study was conducted on 216 nursing Students of Urmia nursing and Midwifery Faculty in 2019. Data were collected using a 4-part questionnaire including demographic characteristics, ethical intelligence, clinical attachment, and clinical self-efficacy. The data were analyzed by SPSS software version 16 using descriptive-correlation tests. Results: The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between moral intelligence and clinical Belongingness with self-efficacy. The relationship between self-efficacy with attachment and moral intelligence was equal to 52. 22 and 46. 95, respectively. In addition, based on Pearson's test, there was a direct linear relationship between attachment and moral intelligence (r= 0. 580, P=0. 001). Conclusion: Authorities need to plan optimally by improving the quality of education and improving the level of clinical self-efficacy of nursing Students. Therefore, the efforts to create conditions that Students feel as part of a more affiliated care team can improve their clinical performance.
