Abstract

Since proper nouns in every language reflect both the cultural and phonological features of that language, during the process of translation, the translator should pay special attention to propernouns of place, person and of geographical locations. While translating from Italian to Persian, the differences between the spoken and written forms of these languages add to the existing problems and we should think of a way out of these problems.
