Abstract

The research purpose is to assess the proportion of INTELLIGENCE and CREATIVITY in the prediction of entrepreneurial power of graduates of Islamic Azad University, Roudehen Branch. ENTREPRENEURSHIP is considered a process through which individuals identify opportunities, allocate resources, and create values. The population of the study comprises all the B.A. Students studying in the Islamic Azad University, Roudehen branch in the two academic years of 2008-2009 and 2009-2010, out of which a sample of 250 individuals was randomly selected through applying the stratified sampling. The data were gathered by administering the following questionnaires: Reyven INTELLIGENCE Test, Abedi's 60- Item CREATIVITY Test, and the Comprehensive ENTREPRENEURSHIP Test. Findings revealed that: INTELLIGENCE and CREATIVITY are significant at the 0.01 level in the prediction of entrepreneurial power; however, CREATIVITY shares the greatest amount in the prediction of the entrepreneurial power, proving that the INTELLIGENCE is not statistically significant in the prediction of entrepreneurial power; the graduates of different educational majors demonstrate differing proportion of INTELLIGENCE, CREATIVITY. Amongst the English Literature students, CREATIVITY is significant in predicting the entrepreneurial power of the graduates, whereas, the predictive value is possessed by INTELLIGENCE among the computer Engineering graduates. Moreover INTELLIGENCE, CREATIVITY and entrepreneurial power are significant at the 0.01 level among the graduates of Librarianship; whereas, no correlation is observed among the above-mentioned variables in the graduates of Counseling.
