Abstract: 

The aim of this article was the assessment of the university situation for the establishment of knowledge management. The study using descriptive method of preparatory type, investigated the situation of Islamic Azad University for the establishment of a suitable model of knowledge management. The population of the study consisted of all members of the faculty members and employees of Islamic Azad University, Central Tehran Branch. In order to analyze the research data, descriptive and inferential statistics were used. Results of the research showed that the human force was in good condition, the organizational structure and culture were at average level, and condition of information technology for application of knowledge management was not suitable.There was no significant difference between views of teachers and staff on information technology and organizational structure, but there was a significant difference between views on human resources, organizational culture and knowledge management. In the end, based on the results of the research, suggestions for paving the road for the establishment of knowledge management, executing model and stages for implementation of Knowledge management in the university were provided.

Abstract: 

This study compared the effects of life skills on life satisfaction of male and female first year high school students. The population consisted of all 583 first year high school students in Bandrgaz city. Using Morgan Table, the sample size appeared to be 226. The research tool included 20 items in five areas of life skills, training, guidance, with reliability coefficient 0.87. Data collection and library studies were used to determine the content validity of questionnaire and formal opinions of supervisors, the consultant were also gathered. For data analysis, descriptive statistics and inferential were used. The results rejected the null hypothesis with 95% confidence. It was proved that life skills affect the boys and girls’ life satisfaction. The results also showed that training of life skills has different effects on boys and girls. Furthermore, the results showed that self awareness, stress control, interpersonal communication and empathy and social consciousness of students affect students’ life satisfaction. Finally, creative and critical thinking of students do not effect their life satisfaction.

Abstract: 

This study compared depression, stress, anxiety, shyness, aggression and academic achievement among single-parent and two-parent male students. The population consisted of all male students in Kermanshah High Schools, of which using the cluster sampling method, a sample consisting 190 students was selected. They were given a questionnaire to complete. Out of them, 184 students completed the. The tools were Jake and bass’s (DAS) for measuring stress, and depression, and (AGO) to check anxiety, shyness, and Aggression.The research design was descriptive. Descriptive statistics and independent t test were statistical analysis involved. Results showed that there was a significant difference between the average academic achievement, depression, stress and shyness between two-parent boys and single-parent boys. But there was no significant difference in anxiety and aggression in the two groups. It can be concluded that the deprivation of parental mental health and academic achievement in children has a negative effect.

Abstract: 

The present study has been conducted with an aim of identifying main the dimensions and components of the crisis management in order to offer an appropriate mechanism for high schools in the city of Tehran. With the study of the literature and background of the research, generally two components were identified inside the school and outside the school. Then a questionnaire containing 48items was used and for the final result, a research sample of 30 subjects was selected. The obtained Cronbach’s alpha appeared to be 0.78.The statistical population of this research included all school administrators of high schools in the city of Tehran whose number amounted to 1500 out of which 170 were selected by using Cochran’s formula. In order to analyze the data in the inferential statistics section, Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test (KS-test); for studying normality of the answers the single-sample t test, and for reviewing the condition of components of the crisis, Freidman›s Test were used. For ranking the components, the following results were obtained: inside schools components in physical dimension, prevention, and intervention were in a satisfactory condition and sub-component of health services and education was in a very low condition. But, in the dimension of outside school, components with simple linear regression method, inside school components were influential over outside school components except for the health services and education where such an influence was absent. In prioritization of the components for the crisis, the physical dimension ranked the highest while outside school component ranked the lowest by using Freidman’s Test.

Abstract: 

Stress is a physical or emotional depression which is created due to the real or imaginative problems and some times causes a lot of damage to the person and organization. It also refers to the people’s reaction against the environment features.The goal of this research was to investigate the relationship between the effects of nervous pressures resulted from working (job stress) on decreasing organizational productivity in Fars Province in Red Crescent Organization. The method of research was descriptive. Population in this research contained all the managers in three levels including top, middle and practical, and also the employees which included 463 subjects in cities of Firuzabad, Lamerd, Shiraz, Fasa, Neyriz, Jahrom, Grash, Khonj, Lar. Evaz, Darab and Kazerun. The sample consisted of 106 chosen by random sampling. The number of questionnaires gathered from the subjects was 94. The questionnaire included 30 items which were arranged based on the research hypothesis. The findings of the research proved the employees’ productivity, but they stated that it was because of their background, and they indicated that they had suffered from harm in their work place and this is one of the factors which caused reduction in their organizational productivity. Regarding the second research question, the results showed that the high amount of work results in more stress for employees. In relation with the third hypothesis, the findings of the research confirmed this hypothesis and showed that the more aggression in the role, the more stress would exist. But, the findings didn’t confirm the forth hypothesis. Therefore, the contrast in personal relations among employees does not result in creating stress.

Abstract: 

The present article has been taken of a research which its main goal was to determine the investigation of dropout students’ motivation who participate distance and adult education centers. The population (12500 students) was the whole distance education and adult education students in some cities of Tehran Province. The sample (800 students) was chosen using random cluster sampling. The measurement tool was a researcher-made questionnaire with 34 items. The reliability index of piloting was 0.95 which proved the reliability of the tool using cronbach’s Alpha. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and referential statistics. The results showed that the reasons of leaving schools contain financial problems and family problems and also the educational system. The motivation of participating in the courses were strengthening social personality, academic degrees, the family and friends’ persistence, and promotion professional status.

Abstract: 

The present study entitled as “Prediction of educational improvement based on selfefficacy, self-regulation and creativity of undergraduate students” was conducted on a sample group of 300 students of undergraduate from the Islamic Azad University of Roudehen Branch in the academic year of 2010-11, by stratified random sampling.The instruments of the study were “the third scale” of the Sherer’s self-efficacy, the Bufford’s self-regulation and the Abedi’s creativity inventory implemented on the sample group. In addition to the three above mentioned tools, another questionnaire was also used to collect the information regarding the demographic features as well as the GPA of the previous semester of the individuals in the sample group, as an indicator for their academic achievement. Statistical methods were multivariate regression analysis. The following results were drawn after the collection, and analysis of the data: among the three variables of self-efficacy, self-regulation and creativity, self-efficacy was the only variable with which the academic achievement could be predicted; In regard to the female students, self-efficacy was the only major factor to predict the academic achievement; in regard to the male students, among the three variables of self-efficacy, self-regulation and creativity, creativity was the only variable with which the academic achievement could be predicted; comparing the beta coefficients for boys and girls, the girls’ self- efficacy had a significant relationship with their academic achievement; the beta self-efficacy in girls was more than boys, and the boys’ academic achievement had a significant correlation with their creativity; the beta creativity in boys was more than girls.
