The purpose of this research was to study the application of learning strategies by successful and unsuccessful students in Islamic Azad University Lamard Branch. To this end, learning strategies related to motivation, attitude, time management, emotional peace, concentration, information processing, scanning, study skills, and self-assessment were investigated. To collect data, LASSI questionnaire was administered to successful and unsuccessful BA students studying in Business management, English language teaching, chemistry engineering, Primary school teacher training, politics, industrial management, and English language literature. They, then, were analyzed using descriptive statistics methods (table, frequency, graph) and inferential statistics (t-test, one-way and two-way ANOVA Regression analysis, correlation of coefficient). The findings of the study indicated that there is a significant relationship between successful and unsuccessful students. In other words, applying learning strategies by successful students is relatively more.
