Abstract: 

Effects of nutrients and light density on the growth performance and and density of micro-algae Senedesmus sp in different fomula were studied in orther to determination of higher density in minimum period. The TMRL media with different concentrations of N (N2: 30, 50, 70g), P (NaH2Po4: 3, 5, 7g) and same content of Fe (FeCl3: 1g) were prepared. All treatments have been stocking with 1725×103 Cell/ml or 6. 23 Log C/ml. Micro-algae was cultured into these media (M) with two light density (L) as 1 (3500 ± 350 Lux) and 2 (5500 ± 350 Lux) in 6 treatments and 3 replications during 12 days. At the days of 2 and 12, algae biomass were 6. 24 and 7. 05 Log C/ml in M1-L1, 6. 25 and 7. 42 Log C/ml in M2-L1 and 6. 25 and 7. 41 in M3-L1, respectively. Algae biomass at the days of 2 and 12, were 5. 65 and 7. 04 Log C/ml in M1-L2, 6. 18 and 7. 35 Log C/ml in M2-L2 and 6. 35 and 7. 43 in M3-L2, respectively. The results showed that growth of Scenedesmus in the third medium (M3 contained P-7g, N-70gr and Fe-1g) and fisrt light density (L1: 3500 Lux) after 12 days of culture was much higher than respect to the rest of media. Thus, growth prformance of Scenedesmus was higher in media which had high contents of nutrinet (P<0. 05). The results also showed that amounts of protein, lipid, carbohydrate and ash based dry weight in micro-algae Scenedesmus were 32. 4, 5. 21, 24. 12 and 32. 55 percent, respectively.

Abstract: 

The main objective of this research was determination and analysis of the aquatic consumption in the urban and rural areas, Golestan province. The survey method was used to achieve the research objectives and the main instrument of the research was a researcher made questionnaire. The questionnaires were completed by visiting each of the research samples. The population of this research include urban households and rural households in Golestan province has 1000 workers in both state and free sampling random sampling was conducted in 1394. A standard formula was used to estimate the amount of aquatic consumption. The results showed that the average of per capita consumption in Golestan is 9. 65 kg, in urban area and in rural area 8. 35 kg/y. On the other hand, inflation and lack of local shopping mall near the workplace and residence are considered as the main problems and obstacles of the consumption level. And the weighted average fish consumption among public workers was 12. 9 kg and 88. 8 kg mean weight of fish consumption in private jobs and generally favorable conditions for fish consumption between the two groups, estimated between 7 and 9 kg respectively.

Abstract: 

This study compared the nutritional value of discard fish in order to find potential regional supplier of low-cost food for aquaculture development, discard fish of fishing boats were collected with collaboration of fishery office in northwest of the Persian Gulf in fishing area of Khuzestan coastal waters from 2011 to 2012. The samples were chemically analyzed. According to different aquatic groups, the highest percentage of protein (77. 84± 2. 088) in Perciformes belongs to Eupleurogrammus muticus and the lowest percentage (40. 40± 0. 322) belongs to Liza klunzingri, the most percentage of lipid was in Liza klunzingri (33. 78± 0. 277) and the lowest percentage was in Grammoplites suppositus (3. 34± 0. 025), the highest and lowest percentage of ash (minerals) were in Cynoglossus arel (28. 14± 0. 377) and Acanthocephola abbreviate (0. 7± 0. 02) respectively. In the present study, the level of protein, lipid and minerals were in acceptable limit. Therefore discard fish have great potential in fulfilling nutritional requirements as fresh food (minimally processed) and with nutritional additives in forms of fish powder and fish oil and it can play an effective role in aquaculture development in the region.

Abstract: 

This study aims to evaluate and comparison of the accumulation of heavy metals Hg, Cd and Pb in fish eggs, muscle of fingerling, fish market and male and female breeding stock farmed Oncorhynchus mykiss from Lorestan province in 2011. 75 samples by fish eggs, fingerling, fish market and male and female breeding stock were prepared from three ponds breeding center ghezel rood of brojer, Lorestan province. The concentrations of heavy metals were measured by atomic absorption Perkin Elmer 4100. Data analysis was performed with the software SPSS18 and to ANOVA one way. The highest and lowest concentration of Hg was in gill of male breeding stock (0. 048± 0. 004 mg/kg) and fish eggs (0. 008± 0. 0 mg/kg). The highest and lowest concentration of Cd was in gill of female breeding stock (0. 337± 0. 021 mg/kg) and fish eggs (0. 019± 0. 001 mg/kg). Also, the highest and lowest concentration of Pb was in gill of female breeding stock (0. 639± 0. 036 mg/kg) and fish eggs (0. 036± 0. 001 mg/kg). Concentration of Hg, Cd and Pb in eggs of Oncorhynchus mykiss were 0. 008± 0, 0. 019± 0. 001 and 0. 036± 0. 001 mg/kg. Accumulation of Hg, Cd and Pb increased with age and different growth stages of Oncorhynchus mykiss.

Abstract: 

The Limnological study of Arasbaran reservoir dam in Eastern Azerbaijan province was carried out in order to aquaculture purposes. Hydrochemical parameters and phytoplankton samples were collected three times in 2010. Totally, 37 genus were identified that belong to 6 phylum Chlorophyta, Cyanophyta, Bacillariophyta, Euglenophyta, Pyrrophyta and Chrysophyta. Chlorophyta had the most diversity of phytoplankton genus with 14 genera. The identified genera for other phylum were 6, 12, 2, 1 and 1 genus, respectively. Cyanophyta had the most abundant of phytoplankton with average 23. 5 million/l. and 72% of total population. The second ranks of phytoplankton abundance belong to Bacillariophyta phylum with 22% total population and Cyclotella, Achnanthes and Synedra were dominant genus. While no significant difference (P>0. 05) was observed for phytoplankton abundance in different depths, a significantly difference (P<0. 05) was observed for phytoplankton abundant among different sampling times and furthermore among different stations. The average values of electrical conductivity (Ec), temperature, dissolved oxygen and pH was varied from 717 to 1073 µ s/s, 6. 8-24. 4 ° C, 1. 1-12. 8 mg/L and 7. 62-8. 75, respectively. A thermo-oxy stratification was observed at 10 meter depth in June.

Abstract: 

The dietary quality has very important in the growth & culture of fishes, due to the high nutritional value of pistachio green dried hull (PGDH), in this study evaluated the effect of diet on the growth and feeding indices of common carp. Experiment was carried out with as a completely randomized design with five treatments 0 (control), 0. 5, 1. 5, 2. 5 and 4. 5% of the diets and feeding for six weeks (at 3. 5% of body weight per day). Fishes growth rate was at 0. 5% (PGDH) higher than other treatments. Compared with controls, the lowest and highest of BWI% and SGR was related to 4. 5 and 0. 5% respectively. The best FCR and FC (Condition Factor) obtained from 0. 5% treatment. Results indicated that pistachio's green dried hull (PGDH) up to 0. 5%, can increase some growth parameters in common carp. Statistical analysis also showed significant differences (P<0. 05) in FCR, PER and BWI between treatments. As well as reducing the PER at the same time with increasing the level of pistachio's green dried hull (PGDH) in different treatments was observed. Generally, the use of high levels of pistachio's dried hull have negative effect on the growth of common carp.

Abstract: 

Gloeotrichia echinulata is a meroplankton of cyanobacteria that has Akinete. Gloeotrichia echinulata has two forms planktonic and bentic. Gloeotrichia echinulata inclusive toxin of MC-LR that can be harmful for living organisms. and increasing it quickly goes around the world and Many existing studies on this plankton are ongoing. In Iran, the studies carried out in autumn 2014 for the first time Gloeotrichia echinulata observed in the waters of the coastal region of Amirabad. For sampling of phytoplankton used of Ruttner type of water sampler, as well as tubes membrane pump and 500 ml of water were taken and added to the glass bottles and fixed with neutralized formaldehyde solution as 4%. Then the samples transferred to laboratory of Ecological Academi, The density and biomass Gloeotrichia echinulata at a depth of 5 meters (1, 000, 000 cubic meters) (7 mg per cubic meter) above the level (350, 000 cubic meters) (45/2 mg per cubic meter), respectively. Caspian Sea because of the biological species and native species (42%) in addition to comb jelly, other species were attacked that Gloeotrichia echinulata can be named. During this study, G. echinulata community in Amir Abad increased. So G. echinulata is a large colonial cyanobacterium that may have substantial effects on some lakes used for drinking water and recreation because it can produce the toxin microcystin-LR. We found G. echinulata in the water column of Amir Abad. As a result, now or in the future, G. echinulata will increase and need mor attention.

Abstract: 

In order to survey on the incidence of Lernea sp. on the common carp (Cyprinus carpio), in the rearing ponds of Shushtar, lies in Khuzestan province in summer (on july), 275 fish were captured from four ponds by fishing net and transferred to laboratory of veterinary medicine, Kazerun Branch of Islamic Azad university by containers of formaldehyde 10%. After identifying the Lernea sp. by key identification, biometric operations were performed on infected fish. The results showed that from 275 fish, 69 fish were infected to Lernea sp. there was a significant relationship between total length and weight with number of lesions on the body (P≤ 0. 01).
