Abstract: 

This research was conducted to determine the effectiveness of E-learning on MA students' skills in accessing required information and the evaluation of information and its sources. The research method was quasi-experimental and the statistical population was all MA students of Islamic Azad University Tabriz branch in academic year 2011-2012 in six discipline as follows: Educational Planning, Curriculum Development, Educational Administration, General Psychology, Educational Psychology, and TEFL which included 766 individuals. The sample size was 46 students who were selected through non-random snowball sampling method. In this research, "Students' Self-Reporting Questionnaire of Information Literacy" was used that its validity and reliability was confirmed by content validity and Cronbach's alpha, respectively. According to pretest results, individuals were randomly assigned to two homogenous control and experimental groups. 20 tutorials were sent to experimental group via email within 9 weeks; and then a post-test examination was given. The results of the Analysis of covariance (ANCOVA) showed that E-learning has effect on students' skills in accessing required information and the evaluation of information and its sources.

Abstract: 

The present study has been carried out by the aim of examining the effect of structured short-term play therapy on controlling the symptoms of attention deficiency and hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in preschool children suffering from ADHD. The methodology of the research was semi-experimental with pre-test and post-test design. The statistical population included children affected by ADHD who referred to Bozorgmehr Therapeutic Center. Thirty children were assigned randomly in two groups of control and experimental, using accessible sampling method. The instruments used were CSI-4, parents- teacher “ADHD rating scale” form, and parents form. The obtained data in two steps of pre- test and post- test was analyzed using the statistical method of one variety covariance analysis and U-Man-Whitney test. The results showed that based on the evaluation of parent- teacher form, structured short-term play therapy leads to significant decrease in hyperactivity, and attention symptoms deficiency of subjects in experimental group in comparison with control group respectively (P<0.01).

Abstract: 

The aim of this study was to determine the relationship between social capital and internal motivation with academic achievement among high school students. Cluster random sampling was used to select 307 students .Then social capital and internal motivation questionnaires were administrated. To measure the academic achievement, their academic grade average was used. Collected data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficient, stepwise regression analyses and t test. The results showed that there is positive and significant relationship between social capital and academic achievement (P<0.01). There is positive and significant relationship between internal motivation and academic achievement (P<0.01). The results of regression analysis showed that only internal motivation is able to predict academic achievement. The results also showed that the degree of social capital and internal motivation among female and male students was not different. But the academic achievement of female students was more than male students. The results of research can be used by administrators of education to promote   academic achievement of students.

Abstract: 

This study was administered to investigate the curriculum development ideological type among the educational sciences faculty members in Tehran state universities in 2010-2011. The research method was descriptive survey. The statistical population was as people out of which 81 people was ready to participate in the research. The data were collected through Schiro standard questionnaire including six components (purpose, teaching, learning, knowledge, learner and evaluation), which dealt which four types of curriculum ideology namely, academic researchers, learner-centered, social-reconstruction and social efficiency. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. The results showed that 5% of academic researcher, 11% of social efficiency. 64% learner-centered, 11% social reconstruction and 4% compound of learner-centered and social efficiency have tendency toward the curriculum development ideology. It can be concluded that most of the academic members have learners centered ideology.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the study was to determine high-school first grander students' life-skills in Takab Township. The research method was descriptive survey. The statistical included all the first grade students which added up to 1270 people, out of which 100 people was chosen as the sample size. The sampling method was random stage sampling. To gather the data the life skills standard questionnaire which included problem solving, empathy, creative thinking, decision making, coping with emotions and stress, critical Hinking, effective communication, self-awareness, interpersonal relationship. The face and content validity was confirmed by experts and according to cronbach’s alpha coefficient , the questionnaire’s reliability was 0.85.Data analysis was accomplished in two levels of descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.(T test for a single mean, t test for independent). Findings showed that First-grade students’ enjoyment in decision making skill, problem solving, critical thinking and interpersonal relationship was average and in other skills was less than average. Student’s highest level of enjoyment was in critical thinking skill and their lowest level of enjoyment was in creative thinking skill. There is a significant difference between male and female students in Effective Communication skill and the average scores of girls were more than boys.

Abstract: 

This research using one of the new research methods namely meta-analysis tealt with analyzing and combining the results of researches were done in connection with self-efficacy in research centers in Iran. The statistical population was 25 researches. These researches were chosen based on research methodology components such as questions, hypotheses, aims, statistical population, sampling method, research method, validity, reliability and questionnaires. Statistical analysis was done through comprehensive meta-analysis software. Using Schmidt and Hunter method for combining the effect of size on self-efficacy, the results showed that there was a significant difference between male and female students. The male's effect of size was more than those of female ones.

Abstract: 

The aim of the study was to compare problem solving styles and self-efficacy beliefs among sample and common high-school students in Shabestar Township in 2011-2012. The research method was descriptive-survey. The statistical population was all the students in both kinds of high-school, which added to 383q people. Using Morgan's table the sample size 350 people. The sampling method was ratio stratified one. To gather the two standard questionnaires (Scherer's public self-efficacy and Cassidy & Long problem-solving) were used. The descriptive and inferential statistics (t-test. And U-man Witney) were used to analyze the data using SPSS software. The findings showed that there was a significant difference between the two types of high-schools. The sample high-school students were higher in both self-efficacy and problem-solving.

Abstract: 

The present study has been done for investigation of relationship between the types of organizational structures and emotional intelligence among the Managers of Tehran educational districts. The statistical population includes of all the managers of Tehran educational districts with population of 192 persons which the size of sample according to Morgan table has calculated 127 persons. The tools of data collection were two researcher questionnaires based on Richard Hall's organization structure model, consisting of 24 Questions with an alpha coefficient of 0.81 and with Emotional Intelligence of Goleman includes of 25 questions with the alpha coefficient of 0.85 in the range of 5 degrees of Likert. The gaining results showed that there is a significant relationship between the types of organizational structures and intellectual emotions among the managers of Tehran educational districts. The organizational structures of Tehran educational districts in large amounts are based in technical regulations and in small amounts are based on technical merits. The amounts of intellectual emotion of the managers of Tehran educational districts are in high level.
