Abstract: 

The Purpose of this research was to study the direct and indirect effect of theoretical intelligence upon educational intelligence in teacher training centers. Statistical population of the study was all instructors at teacher training centers of Iran in academic year of 2008-2009, which 200 among them were selected randomly as sample. Face and content validity of research instrument were verified by experts and construct validity through factor analysis. Reliability coefficient of questionnaire for theoretical intelligence, systematic intelligence, transactional intelligence, and educational intelligence were calculated at 086, 083, 087 and 086 respectively. Research findings shoed that theoretical, intelligence has direct effect (B=.4) and indirect effect (.22) upon educational intelligence (P=.000). Also, findings showed that theoretical, systematic and transactional intelligence have direct effect on educational intelligence (P=000). Theoretical intelligence had highest effect on educational intelligence and after that systematic.

Abstract: 

The Purpose of Present research was to provide standardization tables for Maslash Burnout Inventory students survey (MBI-SS). This research was executed over 238 female students at university of Isfahan who were selected randomly. Data were presented using descriptive statistics and graphs. Row grades were transformed into "Z", "T", and percentages and tabe for burnout sub-scales were calculated separately. In order to determine reliability of instruments, internal consistency method and testretest method were used. Cronbach's alpha coefficients for exhaustion, cynicism, and academic efficacy were calculated at. 88, 90, 84 respectively that showed good internal consistency. Obtained alpha coefficient through test- retest showed reliability of. 89, 84, and. 67 respectively for exhaustion, cynicism, and academic efficacy. Factor analysis with varimax concurrent and divergent validity, Depression Inventory and self-made scale of interest to academic field of study were used. Obtained coefficients foe exhaustion, cynicism, and academic efficacy were (-.21), (-.53), and (-.32) respectively. Also, concurrent validity for exhaustion, cynicism, and academic efficacy were calculated at. 74, 68, and. 50. Findings showed that MBI-SS is a valid and reliable instrument for measuring academic burnout among female students.

Abstract: 

The Purpose of present research was to examine factor reliability and validity of learning styles questionnaire that was developed by felder and Solomon (1996), based on silverman model (1988). Population of study were all girls' students at third grade in Tehran guidance schools among them 450 were selected as sample using multiple cluster sampling. Research instrument was felder and Solomon learning styles questionnaire which its validity and reliability were confirmed by different psychometric methods. Collected data were confirmatory factor analysis. Fitness indices in this study were IFI=.88, NNFI=.95, NFI=.91, RMR=.52, AGFA=070, GFI=070, RMSEA=.66, AND CFI=089. These findings confmned that structure of the questionnaire has an acceptable fitness and consistencies. In addition, results of convergent and concurrent reliability (correlation between questionnaire subscale and students grade point average in first semester of 1389-1390 academic year) showed that the questionnaire had an acceptable validity and it is a valid and reliable instrument to measure students learning styles in Iranian population.

Abstract: 

The Purpose of present study was to determine the effectiveness of stress inoculation training (SIT) on somatic symptoms of diabetic patients. Research method was experimental and statistical population of the study cons is of 2630 diabetic patients from Isfahan diabetic center. 16 female and 14 male patients from Isfahan diabetic center. 16 female and 14 male patients, that were randomly selected, were assigned to two experimental and control groups. General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28) was administered to both groups before and after intervention. There were 8 female and 7 male patients in each group. The experiment group received 6 day interval, 100 minutes sessions of (SIT), but the control group did not. Results showed that (SIT) caused a significant decrease in average at total score of somatic symptoms compare to control group (P<0.001).Therefore education of (SIT) can be useful intervention approach for improving somatic symptoms of diabetic patients.

Abstract: 

In this research, researchers studied present and possible situation of the application of evaluation indicators of curriculum inputs by choosing a number of the most important of these, for evaluation of three important components of curriculum input(faculty, students and facilities) at the postgraduate level at Isfahan, Shahrekord and Isfahan Industrial universities, based on the CIPP-model. It is a kind of applied research and the method used is descriptive-analytic and survey. The statistical population of the quantitative part includes all faculty members, students and postgraduate students of the mentioned universities total: 11635 people. Then choosing 652 people, by stratified sampling as sample. Statistical population of qualitative part includes all the faculty members of the universities mentioned, that 30 members of them selected by purposeful sampling method. The data were collected by questionnaire and interview. The validity of the tools was approved by 15 professors of Isfahan University. Cronbach's alpha coefficient of the present and possible situation of the questionnaire was 0.96 and 0.97. The reliability of the interview form was assessed by the specialists and the triangulation. The results of the research show that, mean of the viewpoints of the members to present situation of evaluation indicators of faculty members was medium (p>0.0 l & `X =3.07) and student and facilities was less than medium (p<0.000 1 & X =2.67). However the mean of their viewpoints to the possibility of using all indicators was high (p<0.000 1& `x>4). Therefore using all these indicators in the evaluation of the three mentioned components is suggested.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this research was to investigate the relationship between psychological dimensions of National Iranian Oil Refining & Distribution Company- Tehran's 3 units- with managers' dysfunctions and personality characteristics from employees' points of view. Research sample was 57 managers and 171 subordinates which were randomly selected. Research instruments were "organization's neurotic styles", "leaders dysfunctions" and "NEO-Five Factor Index" scale. Research datas were analyzed in two levels of descriptive and inferential statistics. Results showed that there is an internal significant relationship between psychological dimensions, managers' dysfunctions and personality characteristics. Based on Pearson correlation, the relationships were significant between dramatic depressed dimension and withdrawing dysfunction, schizoid paranoid and dominating, and withdrawing dysfunction; depressed-schizoid and withdrawing dysfunction. Also, the relationships between depressed-schizoid and neurotic characteristic(r=0.277, p≤0.05); and dominating dysfunction and openness were significant. Based on Regression analysis (Step-wise method), withdrawing dysfunction was able to predict 0.36 of dramatic depressed of schizoid-paranoid (R2=0.219) and 0.31 of schizoid-paranoid.

Abstract: 

The Purpose of this article was comparison of addiction treatment motives and social capital among treating addicts at city of Isfahan. In this survey, statistical population consist of all addicts in city of Isfahan who were under treatment as member in Narcotics Anonymous. Therapeutic community, Methadone maintenance Therapy, and camps. Statistical sample included 300 addicts under treatment who were selected randomly based on type and place of treatment in 1388. Research instrument was a self-made questionnaire including three sections of intergroup, intergroup social capital and personal/social motives. Results from manova using spss 16 showed that there was significant difference between treatment samples based on official trust, informal trust (P≤05), generalized trust, belonging and inter groups social capital (P≤.01), but there showed no difference among treatment samples interms of general trust, participation, and inter groups social capital. Findings showed that there was no significant difference among treatment sample with regard to social motives, but it was significant for personal motives (p≤.01). In indices of formal trust, informal trust, inter group social capital, MM, and in participation indices, belonging and social motive, NA;and in intergroup social capital, TC had most average. In this research, history and type of possible past treatment were not studied, but it seems that are mostly personal. On this basis, individualism in community is prevailing while participation in social affairs is declining and social capital is not applied in treatment of addicts. Hence, there is need for planning and logical cooperation of different social organizations and institutions to pay more attention to social health and treatment. This article emphasize the role of non-government institution cooperation in developing social capital and their effect on preventing ways based on social approaches.
