Introduction: global rating system system is applicable, faster in time and easily handled. Butthe student may receive different scores by different assessors and it possibly led to different scores if repeated. This study is done to design and compare psychometric properties of the checklist for clinical skills assessment of dental students in removable partial denture course and evaluate the rater’ s and student’ s satisfaction about it. Materials & Methods: The checklist was analyzed by expert panel while the view points of the scientific member of staff was analyzed and applied in the designed checklist. The content validity of the checklist was measured by lawshe. Then, reliability of the checklist itself and reliability of the assessros was determined by test re test. The satisfaction rate of the scientific member of staff and the students about the checklist was also measured using a 5-scaled instruments. Results: The satisfaction rate of the students and scientific member of staff was also high about the designed checklist; however, member of staff showed higher satisfaction than the students. The staff showed the highst satisfaction on the item (To what degree, the checklist is successful not to be affected of the staff’ s personal views in scoring? ) with the mean score of 4. 6 while they gave the least satisfaction on the item (To what degree, the checklist is applicable to the assessors? ) With the mean score of 3. 0. Conclusion: Conclusion Due to the validity and reliability of the checklist and the satisfaction of students and professors, it seems that the designed checklist can be used to evaluate students in this course.

Introduction: Today، nursing is one of the most important jobs in any society., because nursing has a direct and undeniable impact on the well-being and public health of the community. One of the challenges facing the healthcare system and managers is the alarming trend of nurses' turnover intention. One of the factors that can play in the nurses' intention to leave is the fitness of nurses and their work environment. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of person-organization fit on turnover intention, with the mediating role of person-group fit among nurses to public specialty hospitals in Mashhad. Materials & Methods: The research method is applied in terms of purpose and the data collection method is descriptive-correlational. The statistical analysis using SPSS 18 and AMOS Soft wares includes frequency and statistical charts, the inferential statistics, factor analysis and structural equations. The sample selected using stratified random sampling was 1467 nurses working in Mashhad public specialty hospitals. The size of sample using Cochran formula was 305 people. The questionnaire with the reliability coefficient using Cronbach's alpha of 0/89 distributed among nurses to collect data. Results: The direct and indirect effects of individual-organization fit and individual-group fit on intention to leave nurses were negative and significant, and the mediating effect of individual-group fit on individual-organization fit was also confirmed. Conclusion: Employing and retaining nurses who have personal beliefs, goals, and values that are consistent with the vision, goals, principles, and values of the health care system will help nurses maintain their voluntary exit and exit process. As a result, it increases patient satisfaction and improves the quality of health care services and promotes the overall health and well-being of the community.

Abstract:

Introduction: By assessing the status of dentistry education at different stages, one can identify the program's weaknesses and make the necessary changes and modifications in the program. The aim of this study was to investigate Attitude of dentistry students at clinical sections of Mashhad Medical University towards the application of basic sciences courses. Materials & Methods: This cross-sectional study was perfromed on 60 clinical dentistry students (fourth and fifth year) in 2018. The demographic and basic information, the level of applicability of the basic courses in the clinic, the overall view of the basic sciences and the way the basic science courses were presented in a validated questionnaire completed by self-report in five-point likert scale. Results: From the students' point of view, head and neck anatomy courses with a score of 4. 62± 0. 54 and a specialized language with 4. 12± 0. 68 points were the most used basic science courses in clinical practice. Biochemistry courses with 0. 91± 0. 1 points and medical physics with 1. 1± 0. 2 points were reported from the least-used basic science courses. The general outcomes of the basic science study showed that most students (52 cases, 86. 6%) agree with the statement 'the basic science course is required, but its length is long'. Concerning the students' view of how the courses were presented, the highest agreement with 21 cases (35%) was related to the statement 'Practical lessons were useful in understanding the concepts of theoretical lessons', and the most disagreement with 57 cases (95%) was related to the statement 'The design of basic science courses was based on problem-solving skills'. Conclusion: It seems that the dental education system has relatively good performance and capabilities, but deficiencies in some of the educational programs for some students cannot be forgotten. Academic Dental Organizations need to change educational requirements to improve the quality of their education.

Abstract:

Introduction: Numerous studies have shown that prolonged duty shifts reduces the quality of rest, decreases the quality of responsiveness, decrease the response time and dramatically increases the rate of medical errors. The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes in internal medicine intern duty hours through a 3-month period and to examine its effects on different individual, behavioral, and educational aspects of medical interns. Materials & Methods: This was a Quasi-Experimental Study. Two groups of medical interns were selected as control and intervention groups. The control group will normally run their ward. The case group will pass their period by having the regular working hours but the shifts were separated into 2 (for example, a 24-hour shift split into two 12-hour shifts). At the end of the course, they fill in a questionnaire form containing several questions about different educational, behavioral, and other parameters. Results: The total number of interns participating in this study was 83. Independent t-test results indicated that the subscales of individual, educational, and behavioral response scales increased after shifts (P <0. 001), with a significant difference (P<0. 001), with satisfaction From the changed status, it was significantly decreased (P <0. 001). Conclusion: The results of this study have shown that despite the positive effect of changing and correcting the working hours, interns do not have personal satisfaction with it. The reason for this can be attributed to the freshness and incompleteness of this change, the resistance to the change, as well as the commuting problems (for both resident and dorm interns).

Abstract:

It's been more than 10 years since the founding of Perez. Perez is a software used to produce and deliver educational content. Proper use of visual and spatial attractions, animation structure and high ability to categorize content are the obvious advantages of this software. The major disadvantage of the software at present is the inability to directly type in Persian content within the software. Some of the more credible evidences of software offerings have been over conventional PowerPoint presentations as well as lectures. The learners considered the prize learners to be more effective and better structured, and believed that the use of visual gravity would help them transfer concepts better. Therefore, it is desirable that teachers pay more attention to using this software than ever before to improve the quality of teaching. The move has been initiated by some professors at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences for some time and the feedback indicates a higher degree of satisfaction among learners. However, different aspects of using this software need to be investigated by careful research.
