This field study was aimed at identifying the cultural compatibility rate of the repatriated women, returned from Iraq and living in Ilam now, through a social psychological attitude in 1997. The sample community included 253 women whom were studied using classical cluster sampling, questionnaires and direct interviews. X tests were applied to assess the relations among the variables. The findings implied a significant relation between the cultural compatibility of the studied community with the variables of marital status, the inhabitation sort (provisional or permanent), jobs, the families, incomes, the number of each Families children, educational level, having any relatives in Iraq at the time and the residential duration in Iran,(P<0.05).No significant relation was seen between age and the cultural compatibility. The results also proved that; the more the repatriated person had been warmly welcomed by the host people, the better compatible she proved to be culturally.
