Title

THE ROLE OF JOB ENRICHMENT IN RELATION TO TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP COMPONENTS WITH TASK PERFORMANCE

Abstract

 This research was administered with the purpose of studying the role of JOB ENRICHMENT in relations between TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP components with performance in tasks.Research statistical population was the personnel of minerals and industries Houlding factories from Ehya Sepahan company in summer of 1388. Among the above statistical population, 329 persons for participating to research, were selected using two stage sampling. Research instruments including TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP with 22 items (and four subscales namely group goals, personal support, intellectual role model and high performance expectancies), JOB ENRICHMENT questionnaire with 22 items (in order to compute MPS as the level of JOB ENRICHMENT) and TASK PERFORMANCE with 6 items. Data were analyzed with the use of Pearson's correlation coefficient and structure equation modeling. Results showed that there are direct positive relations between personal support, intellectual role model and high performance expectancies (as three components of TRANSFORMATIONAL LEADERSHIP) with JOB ENRICHMENT and between high performance expectancies along with JOB ENRICHMENT with TASK PERFORMANCE.
