Abstract

IN ENGLISH: Phenomenology is receiving a growing attention in the field of the human sciences. It is, as Husserl pointed out, a way of thinking that requires a return to the things themselves. Phenomenology is even at the basis of modern semiotics, hence the interest of presenting here the definition, the fundamental concepts and its contribution to the semio-phenomenological approach of literary translation. The so-called semio-phenomenological approach integrates phenomenological elements such as intentionality, perception, body, presence and emotions within the field of translation. In this research, at first, the theoretical foundation will be studied and its relation to translation will be highlighted. Then, in a second step, this new theoretical perspective will be applied to Healthy people, a prose-poem written by Gilles Archambault, published in the collection Stupeur (1979), and its Persian translation, presented by students at the Master level of French translation at Al-Zahra University. The qualitative analysis of translations is supposed to draw the translator's attention and consciousness to the phenomenological points of a text and therefore seeks to improve the act of reading, understanding and interpreting; the main stages of the process of translation which, being all cognitive activities, presuppose a living and perceiving subject at their base.
