Abstract

The purpose of this survey was to investigate ICT's role in the success of VOCATIONAL and WORK-BASED Institutions in Saroabad city from the perspective of students and teachers in order to Identify the status to reinforce the strengths and fix shortcomings. Population consisted of all students and teachers of VOCATIONAL and WORK-BASED institutions. Stratified random sampling was used. Sample size was 15 for teachers and 100 for student. Data collection was conducted by researcher-made questionnaires. The validity was confirmed by experts and reliability by Cronbach's alpha was 0/81 for students and 0.88 for teachers. Data were analyzed by Wilcoxon test and Factor Analysis. Findings indicated that ICT has a positive impact on the overall success of VOCATIONAL and WORK-BASED Institutions From the perspective of students and teachers. Although the impact on interaction in class, the interest to teacher, the gap with the top students, discipline in class, amount of studies outside of the book from the perspective of students and interact in class, discipline in class and ability of students in higher levels of learning to respond to the questions from the perspective of teachers could not be verified.
