Abstract

The purpose of this study was comparing the Iranian academic different period’s students’ PERCEPTIONs of physical education and school sport. So, 1275 students were selected as subjects with simple random and multi-stage sampling (primary: 500, guidance: 425, high school: 350). The method which applied in this research was Causal- Comparative. Iranian students’ PERCEPTIONs of physical education and school sport collected by the questionnaire which used by Bailey & Dismore in 2004.The reliability and validity of questionnaire had measured (a=0.77). Chi-Square test was used for analyses of data. Results showed that ACADEMIC PERIODS, as an independent variable, made differences and propinquities in the Iranian students’ PERCEPTIONs of physical education and school sport.
