Abstract: 

The Present research has been done to Study the Total Quality Management (TQM) status and presenting a proper procedure to improve it in Tabriz Medical Sciences University. The methodology of the research is descriptive-survey and its aim is functional. The statistical population included all manager in the Educational & Research department, Treatment Department, Faculties & educational hospitals of Medical Sciences University which added to 300 people. The statistical sample size according to Morgan table, was 169 people. Gathering information was done by researcher- made questionnaire. The validity of questionnaire, confirmed by the ideas of supervisor and advisor professor, the reliability was calculated using cronbach’s alpha (a) was 0.96. Factor analysis was also used to classify the questions and the amount of KMO=0.91 was greater than 0.5, so the number of samples were good to perform factor analysis.Descriptive statistics was used. To respond the questions and inferential statistics t-test, one-way (ANOVA) and Pearson correlation was used to test hypotheses. The results showed that the status of components of total quality management at the University of Medical Sciences is moderate. The results of tests also, showed that among the educational administrators in terms of gender, degree, field of study, work experience, management experience, and academic rank and position there wasn’t significant relationship. But TQM regarding the managers, work position showed significant difference. As TQM in Education Development Centre (EDC) got the highest value.

Abstract: 

This research has been done to examine the relationship between the components of learning organization with entrepreneurship attitude of students’ in Naghadeh payam noor university during 2009-2010 educational year. The method of the research considering its goal is functional and considering its type is descriptive–correlation. For gathering the data, two questionnaires were used: Both of them were made by the researcher on learning organization and entrepreneurship attitude questionnaires. After validity-reliability verification through a pre examination on 40 students’ using alpha cronbach formula, the results were: 0.93 for learning organization questionnaire and 0.80 for entrepreneurship attitude questionnaire. The statistical population for this research was male and female students in Naghadeh payam noor university. It is 2233 female students’ and 1737 male students’ (total 3970). The 350 students’ were selected as statistical sample according to cochran formula. The statistical sample in accordance with the total number of each group is 196 female and 154 male students’. The findings of the research showed that the components of learning organization at university were average, also the students’ entrepreneurship attitude was high. Among the components of learning organization, system thinking showed the most correlation with students’ entrepreneurship attitude. Furthermore, among the components of personal mastery, mental models, shared vision, team learning showed direct and meaningful correlation with students’ entrepreneurship attitude. All in all, a direct and meaningful correlation was seen between the learning organization and the students’ entrepreneurship attitude.

Abstract: 

The purpose of the present research was to investigate the factorial structure of Persian version of the Multidimensional Aptitude Battery (MAB) in students’ population. First, the subtests were translated into Farsi. Then, it was retranslated into English and compared with the original version to find and correct the gaps between the translated version and the original version. Finally, after the pilot study and resolving the mistakes, the final subtests were carried out for sample group consisting of 315 students studying in Humanities and basic Sciences in Tabriz Payame Noor University. In this study, Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) and also Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) were conducted on the 10 subtests of the MAB, using a Principal Component Analysis, with Varimax Rotation. Cattell’s scree plot and Horn’s parallel analysis indicated the two factor solutions. The results showed the two factors clearly. The first factor accounted for 41.24% and the second factor about 14.98% of the variance in the subtests set. As the original scale, these factors were called Performance and Verbal scales, according to subtests contents.

Abstract: 

The current study investigates the role of value components on job stress reduction from the education personnels’ poit of view in Jolgeh region. The method of the research was descriptive survey. The statistical population included all of the education personnels’ (256 people), out of which 156 people were selected using cochran’s formula as the sample size. The method of sampling was stratified random sampling. To gather the data a researcher made questionnaire was used. The validity was substantiated by specialists, and the reliability of the questionnaire was calculated through Cronbachs Alpha 0.98. The results showed that all of value components (legal, political, and social) play a greater role than average on job stress reduction. There was no significant difference among the personnels’ view points regarding demographic data.

Abstract: 

Identifying and assessment of effective emotional factors on academic achievement is one of the active and important area in educational psychology. This study examined normalization of reliability and validity of the school attitude assessment questionnaire–revised. The questionnaire included 35 questions which measures five effective emotional factors on academic achievement (academic self–perception, attitude toward school, attitude toward teachers and classes, goal-valuation of school, and motivation/self regulation). Out of the statistical population 317 people were chosen as the sample size. The method of sampling was multistage cluster random sampling. To investigate the validity and reliability confirmatory factor analysis and cronbach alpha were used respectively. Using varimax rotation and factor analysis and omission of three questions five components were revealed. The revealed components and the load of them corresponded with author’s findings. The results showed that the instrument and its subscales have a high reliability.

Abstract: 

The aim of this study was to investigate the psychometric characteristics and normalization of learning organization dimensions scale. Out of the research population, 730 people (including 570 students and 160 faculty members). From Governmental universities in Isfahan was chosen as the sample size. The sampling method was random multistage cluster. The questionnaire was made of learning organization, knowledge management and demographic scale. The results of factor analysis showed that more than 49.37% variance learning organization score was expressed by the scale. Based on the correlation among questions and factors, and after nine times varimax rotation three factors were extracted and named. Further more, learning organization concurrent validity and correlation between the scale and its subscales and among the subscales themselves, were from 0.56 to 0.85, three reliabilities (test retest 0.90, internal uniformity 0.96) were reported. According to the above results, it was concluded that LOD scale have a good psychometric characteristics for Iranian university population, and it can be used as a valid measure in higher education research.

Abstract: 

The study conducted to investigate the effectiveness of implementing qualitative descriptive evaluation on elementary school students’ social skill in Ardabil Province in 2009-2010. The research method was Causal comparative. The statistical population included all the elementary schools with descriptive evaluation method which were chosen for comparison with their counterpart traditional evaluation. The chosen sample size was 999 elementary students’ and 99 teachers. The data were collected through researcher made questionnaires. The SPSS software was used to analyse the data. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyse the hypotheses. The results showed that descriptive evaluation has more effect on group work, cooperation, reducing the competition and engagements in discussions than the traditional evaluation. Based on the findings, the descriptive evaluation is recommended with some reforms.
