Background: The main aim of this research is to identify working conditions and working practices policy (work practices, especially self-management behavior) affecting the productivity of knowledge workers in Birjand University. The results of this research identify ways to improve the productivity of knowledge workers and determine the appropriate working conditions affecting their productivity in the organization. Objective: The purpose of the present study is applied and in terms of the method used is a feild survey. In this research, data was collected through questionnaires tools such To measure the working conditions and its components, by the theoretical model of Palvalin et al. (2017) and Model 3 S Moladkova (2015), in five dimensions (physical working conditions, workplace social conditions, self-management, self-control, self-organizing) and for The indipendent variable (productivity) is used the Achieve model by Hersey and Gold Smith, which has been designed in seven dimensions, such as (ability, clarity, help, incentive, validity, evaluation, environment). The statistical population of this study consists of all faculty members of Birjand University in the academic year of 2017. The sample consisted of 140 faculty members of the University of Birjand based on Morgan's table and structural equations formula for sample size. For data analysis, is used descriptive statistics including mean indexes, standard deviations and frequency tables, and confirmatory factor analysis also to examining the assumption used the Smart PLS and SPSS (21) software. Findings: According to confirmation of research hypotheses at 95% confidence level, physical, social working conditions of the workplace, self-management, self-control, self-organization have a significant effect On the productivity of faculty members, Considering the significant level obtained for the variables of working conditions and working practices, these variables are significant in the model Conclusion: according to the positive coefficients obtained for each of the two variables, It can be concluded that these two variables have a direct and significant effect on the productivity of faculty members Of course, by comparing the standard coefficient of two variables, concluded that the working conditions variable has more effect on the productivity of the faculty members than working conditions variable
