Abstract: 

The main purpose of this study was to compare the effect of two teaching methods based on generative learning and traditional on motivation and learning in biology at the first year high school students. The method of this study was Quasi-experimental research and the research design pretest-posttest with the two groups (control and experimental group). Population of this study included all female students of first year high school who were studying in Qazvin city in the academic year 2012-2013. The sample in this study was 65 female students Due to limitation in implement was ran as an available sample. The data collection instrument was Hermans promotion motivation questionnaire and researcher-made Biology test. In order to calculate the reliability of learning test the kuder. Richardson 20 was used that its value was 0.89. For data analysis, MANCOVA was used and the results Showed that the generative learning teaching method influenced on students’ learning and motivation.

Abstract: 

The purpose of this research was to survey the feasibility for designing and use of blended instruction courses at Allameh Tabatabaei University in the attitudes and abilities of the faculty members. This research design survey method of the 500 faculty members at Allameh Tabatabai University, 80 individuals were selected as the sample in which 51 people answered the questionnaire. Instrument was a researcher made questionnaire. Descriptive statistic inferential statistic (One-sample t test) was used for data analysis. In descriptive part, the value of Mean were acquired 4.04 for attitude factor and it was 3.27 for ability factor. In inferential part, the value of t as acquired 15.017 for attitude factor and it was 2.85 for ability factor. Finally, the research results showed that the faculty members of Allameh Tabatabaei University have a positive attitude about designing and implementation of blended instruction courses and also they have the ability of designing and implementation of blended instruction in university.

Abstract: 

Given the importance of computer and its function as an educational aid in today’s information society, this research investigated the relationship between ICDL and academic achievement of graduate students at Islamic Azad University South Campus. This research is a correlation of study. The population had formed by 288 students of M.A. in Instructional Technology and a sample size of 165 students was chosen based on the Morgan table. In order to collect the research data, a questionnaire was used containing 37 questions and classified in Likert level. Descriptive statistics as well as Pierson’s correlation coefficient and K2 examination was used to answer the research questions. The results show a positive relation among the ICDL skills and executive activities, English skills, academic achievement and research productivity.

Abstract: 

The rapid growth of multimedia and global networks, has provided new ways to convey information to students. This study aimed to compare the effectiveness of course preparation and production of advanced materials in the fields of environmental education. Experimental Group had the advanced training course materials produced the first semester of the academic through the Internet, and none experimental group had face-to-face training. At the end of the training period, both groups had the same exam on the subject matter. A quasi-experimental method (pre-test, post-test) Was used. Sample consisted of two groups comprised of 30 senior students majoring in virtual and traditional learning environment at Payamenoor Tehran. Instrument consisted of a questionnaire which its validity was approved by the experts. Reliability coefficient alpha of 0.74 was obtained. Findings revealed that experimental average test scores was m1=10.88, and non experimental test scores average was m2=8.85. Therefore, there was no significant difference between the two groups. It is concluded that the production of teaching materials can be developed for environmental education course without compromising the quality of education.

Abstract: 

The aim of this research is to study of the relationship between written content and images as two main elements of the textbooks. The descriptive research was used in this study associated relational content analysis for educational media. The statistical society is textbooks of family management course. The result showed %80 of mages completely related to written contentand %10 of them haven’t any relation to written content, and %10 of remaining images more orless related to the content. Also the textbooks are different using images in relation to content and pages.

Abstract: 

Viewing the diversified number of students in the present distance education system, the need to facilitate access to education for those in need, and the accomplishment of education justice in all areas of the country, we find out the necessity of developing distance education especially in undeveloped provinces. This study aims to reflect the extent the objectives of distance education in the province have been achieved –the perceptions of professionals and managers, and to provide guidelines for the development of education. The study is a descriptive survey study of 96 participants, experts and managers of distance education in the province. The sampling method was census. A questionnaire has been used to collect data. The validity and reliability of the questionnaire have been verified using Cranach’s alpha method and the views of distance education experts and university professors respectively. The research questions are as follows:1. From the Viewpoint of Administrators, distance learning centers in Sistan and Baluchestan, how are the goals achieved?2. From the perspective of distance education experts and administrators, what are the appropriate strategies for the development of distance education in the province of Sistan and Baluchestan?The findings indicated that the objectives of distance education in S-B province have been achieved satisfactorily and the guidelines provided for the development of distance education are significant. The study findings also show that the distance education system of the province, in spite of many problems and obstacles, has acted well to achieve its objectives and can be more successful in the development of education in the province using the given guidelines including technological substructures, diverse ways of teaching, increasing research, and the development of e- learning.
