Security in urban areas is among the basic needs of the citizens having different objective and subjective aspects. The researcher here tries to focus on the subjective aspects to be known as sense of security. Development and enhancement of the urban areas identity is one of the most important objectives of the urban planners which can pave the ground for the social cooperations and supervisions. The present study tries to explore the effects of the urban area identity on the citizens’ sense of security. 384 of citizens constituted the statistical sample of the study. Questionnaire was used to collect the required data. Analysis of the data demonstrated that there is a significant relationship between the sense of security and urban area identity.

Stealing the things inside automobiles is among the crimes which has high frequency. The thieves usually tend to commit the crime repeatedly. The present study tries to investigate the effects of detecting the stolen things inside the automobiles on decreasing the rate of the crime. All the officers working in Tehran criminal investigation police constitued the statistical population of the study. 61 of them were randomely selected to form the statistical sample. The findings of the study demonstrated that police operational measures including arrest, house inspection, ... are more efficacious than intelligence measure in decreasing the rate of theft of the things inside automobiles.

The medium of television is among the important arenas in which social trust plays an important role, since television can not survive without the trust of the audiences. The present study tries to investigate the relationship between the people trust to the television and sense of security. People evaluate their circumstances based on the information they receive.This is a field study performed on 400 Tehrani citizens as the statistical sample. The findings of the study demonstrated that the variable “Trust to the TV” is the most powerful one. The variable “Correctness of the News and TV programs” and “Neutrality of TV” filled the rest of places in terms of effectiveness.

The present study aims at comparing and contrasting the EQ variables of the criminals and ordinary people. 169 of The criminals and 184 of ordinary people formed the statistical sample of the study after being randomely selected. Questionnaire was used to collect the necessary data.Analysis of the collected data demonstrated that: there is a significant difference between the Eqs of the criminals and ordinary people; Ordinary people ranked higher than the criminals in EQ variables such as self awareness skills, self control and social skills.

Research-Centerdness in teaching has entered the literature on teaching methodology in recent years. Research is now used as the most important instruments in teaching. The present study is an attempt to measure the practical research in Iran police faculty of intelligence sciences benefitting from Ahrens, Brant and Lee’s proposed model. Based on the research method, the researchers presented the model to the intelligence students for a course. Observation, interview, and document analysis were used to collect the required data. Content analysis was performed to analyze the collected dat. The findings of the study showed that the presented model was in accordance with the physical features of the educational environment, learneres’ characteristics, and the curriculum objectives.

Forgery which is a major crime of depriving public trust and heckle in economic system of a country, is considered as one of the factors of social inefficiency in a community.Committing the crime of forgery in different aspects and various levels is being evolved by technology development, international and domestic communications and exchanges, therefore in modern technique of preventing forgery, determining security and safety indicators of forgery in making documents seems to be one of the essential and efficient factors.The present research which its method is descriptive, aims to study the level of the effect of four main factors in making valuable documents (e.g. paper, design, print and attachable items) in preventing forgery using questionnaire.The main aim of this research is identifying the modern techniques of preventing forgery and studying the main and fundamental factors in paper, design, print and functions of attachable items to the documents as security components in forgery prevention. The statistical population of this research consists of 41 experts in the area of forgery and producing security documents and the survey is done in total number manner.The results indicate that utilizing the four factors mentioned above is an important and efficient indicator in forgery prevention. Finally, developing and enhancing the national committee of forgery prevention is the most significant long-term strategic suggestion for coordination and policy making in preventing and fighting against forgery along with situational prevention been presented.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of Security Intelligence Training Course in I.R.I Police University using three levels of Kirkpatrick's model. The study practical and descriptive in nature. To measure the responses, learning and performance of the graduated students, a questionnaire was used. undergraduate students (undergraduates and graduates in training) formed the statistical sample of the study. All students studying at the first level of the training (210) have been measured by counting all. For the second and third level, assessment, learning and behavior, 85 samples were selected by cluster sampling. The finding demonstrated that there is a significant relationship between the training and the students performances in the real vocational situation.
