THE EFFECT OF TEACHING LIVING SKILLS ON PROGRESS MOTIVATION, SELF STEAM, AND SOCIAL ADAPTION

Abstract

 The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of TEACHING LIVING SKILLS on PROGRESS MOTIVATION, SELF STEAM, and social adoption of the student of Tehran Islamic university. For this purpose, in an experimental study and through a pre- test and post- test method 40 students were randomly selected and were assigned to two experimental and control groups. First, they answered to the questionnaires on PROGRESS MOTIVATION, self- steam, and social adoption. Then, living skills taught only to the experimental group and finally both groups were given a post-test. The findings indicated that TEACHING LIVING SKILLS is effective on improving the level of self- steam, PROGRESS MOTIVATION, and social adoption of the students.
