Abstract

KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT practices are affected by organizational factors and have influence on ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS. In this paper we research the mediating role of KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT in the relationship between organizational culture, strategy and effectiveness. The statistical population is HRM practitioners and R & D staff in Mellat Bank.The instrument for gathering data was questionnaire. The results show that KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT completely mediates in the relationship between organizational culture and effectiveness and partially in the relationship of organizational strategy and effectiveness. This paper adds some new results into KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT literature and emphasizes on the importance of interactional role of ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE AND STRATEGY that effect upon ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS.
