Title

THE EFFECT OF CREATIVE AND CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS TEACHING ON PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL- BEING OF ADOLESCENTS

Abstract

 The aim of present research is study of effect of creative and critical THINKING SKILLS teaching on PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING of ADOLESCENTS. In an experimental study 40students that was selected using random cluster, were divided into two test and control groups. In pre-tes stage, they responded to questionnaire of PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING of Ryff (1989). The test were organized in group form. In later stage of research, the test group through 10 educational sessions (20 hours) was taught THINKING SKILLS (creative and critical) and it is noteworthy that no education was given to control group. Upon completion of educational sessions both test and control groups in the post-test stage were tested with, California critical THINKING SKILLS test B (1990) and Abedi creativity inventory (1996) and questionnaire of PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING of Ryff. Statistical methods, t-test and Multivariate analysis of variance showed that THINKING SKILLS teaching improved PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING that it detected by improve in all of components of PSYCHOLOGICAL WELL-BEING.
