Abstract

 Today SATELLITE as one of the main media and means of transmission and extension of social and cultural values plays significant role in behavior of ADOLESCENTs and young people especially students and their social behavior change. Growing spread of SATELLITEs, immorality and widespread corruption in society and falling some young people into a decline, increasing prevalence of alcoholic beverages and creation of western groups reflect growing impact of these SATELLITE channels on their audiences.Purpose: a phenomenon that in teenage years can cause change in level of SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT of ADOLESCENTs is SATELLITE and its programs.at the end of adolescence, SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT is completed and ADOLESCENT as a social adult has come to be one of the member of the society .thus, in the present study main hypothesis of the relationship between watching SATELLITE programs and level of SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT in ADOLESCENTs was investigated. Our research theory is based on social learning and cultivation theory. Method: the statistical population of the research was all 12213 high school boys and girls in karaj 20th district and 382 students were selected as a sample. special questionnaire was completed by each individual. Stepwise multivariate regression analysis, independent sample t-test, multivariate analysis of variance and LSD post hoc test are used to study the relationships between variables and analyze data and test research hypotheses. SPSS software was used to minimize error. In addition to these indicators, deviation from normal distribution was studied by Kolmogorov-smirnov test in each group of data. Conclusion: research was analyzed and studied regarding purposes and questions and coefficient of determination final standard F=157.7 is significant in level p<0.0001, which reveals the main hypothesis of this study has been confirmed.
