Abstract

Introduction: Beside conventional therapies using complementary medicine is common among cancer patients. SHARK CARTILAGE is one of these compounds. Few documents is available about it's effects on the IMMUNE SYSTEM. In this study we evaluated the effects of SHARK CARTILAGE on CD4, CDS and IFNY concentration.Methods: The test group patients received shark capsules and the control group starch capsules. After isolating the cells and preparing cell, suspensions as well as their planting a Flowecytometry and ELISA Test was done.Results: A significant increase in CD+ percentage and CD4/CD test used SHARK CARTILAGE capsules for 12 weeks and significant increase in IFNY levels was seen in all the test group. But no significant change was observed in the control group.Discussion: SHARK CARTILAGE strengthens cellular immunity against tumors.
