Abstract: 

This paper has investigated the model relationship between turnaround strategies and business performance of firms in crisis. The objective of this study are explanatory-descriptive. The sample is the senior managers of accepted firms in Tehran Stock Exchange which experienced reduction of net income indicators and return on assets at least two consecutive years, during 1385-1391 and afterward, they experienced performance improvement for two consecutive years (successful turnaround) and/or their reduction in performance index continued for two other consecutive years (unsuccessful turnaround). Data of the questionnaire was analyzed by Spearman correlation coefficients and partial correlation coefficients. According to the results, significant relationship exists among debt restructuring, cost reduction, operating asset reduction, Portfolio-Asset investment, changes in product offering, changes in market entry strategies and business performance of firms in crisis. However, relationship between Portfolio-Asset divestment strategy and business performance was not accepted. The effect of company size and government assistance on relationship between turnaround strategies and business performance were not accepted as well.

Abstract: 

Today, one of the important issues of urban economy, is the intense competition between cities in the global scale and a lot of of cities are competing with one another to attract foreign investment and become more powerful. with that point of view, this article is discussing and analysing the competitiveness strategies of Tehran city. In this study there are two stages for our approach. In the first stage, we compared the situation of Tehran city from point of view of nine variables of competitiveness. This variables are: economic growth, GDP, cost of living, quality of living, information infrastructure and urban economic, economic risks and urban security, efficiency of business environment, efficiency of financial services environment and business communications which have an influence on the tehran competitiveness index. In the second stage by using the results of analysis of the above mentioned variables in previous stage, the appropriate competitive strategy with SPACE and SWOT matrix is choosen for Tehran city. The population of the study includes seventy under development cities. Findings of the research show that the best competitive strategy for the Tehran city is the defensive situation.

Abstract: 

The paper's aim is to present a foresight framework based on cognitive approaches and Fuzzy Cognitive Map (FCM). The proposed framework includes three phases of pre-foresight, main-foresight and post-foresight. One of the main strengths of this framework is its ability to present the evolutional trend of experts' cognition on future which begins from data gathering, mapping their imagination, analyzing and summarizing them to achieve knowledge and understandings of the future and ends by forming the wisdom about it. This trend helps to identify probable futures and determine preferable one. Moreover, focus on FCM in this framework clarifies the role of variables and their sequence which facilitates planning for the controllable variables to achieve preferable future. Finally the components of proposed framework are evaluated based on the frameworks reviewed and success factors of foresight frameworks.

Abstract: 

Today, organizations are faced with some problems due to sever changes in technology and environment and these problems are complicated more and more. Solving these problems need a proper leadership style and an ability to interpret unrelated and unscheduled. This ability indeed is strategic thinking in organization. This research aims to investigate the relationship between leadership styles and strategic thinking in organizational level among industrial food and pharmaceutical companies of Ilam’ s province. This research’ s approach is co relational-descriptive and it was performed by distributing 219 questionnaires among managers and employees of these above mentioned industrial companies. For data collection, Multifactor Leadership standard questionnaire (MLQ), Leader-Member Exchange Leadership questionnaire of Liden and Maslyn (1998) and Researcher-made questionnaire of strategic thinking multiple regression test with step by step method were used. Findings show that there are a positive and significant correlation between leadership styles and strategic thinking in organizational level. Also, according to regression analysis, transformational leadership has the most positive influence on strategic thinking.

Abstract: 

This study seeks to answer this question that is Economic Value Added Momentum (EVAM) more highly associated with Tehran Stock Exchange firm values than with accounting ratios. The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence on the information content of EVAM and accounting ratios (ROA, ROE, ROS, EPS, SGR and MS). So that 150 firms (600 firm-years) listed in Tehran Stock Exchange from 1386 to 1389 were studied. Regression analysis indicates that MS are better than other accounting ratios and EVAM in explaining the market value (Market Capitalization and Total Capitalization) Tehran Stock Exchange firms, It also ROE don’ t has significant effect on the market value.

Abstract: 

Pension systems are one of vital components of every society; therefore identifying problems facing these systems seems inevitable. The exceeding amount of uses to sources is a major problem of pension systems in Iran that needs careful understanding of factors affecting the system in order to propose efficient policies. In this study, system dynamics approach is used to model pension system. According to our dynamic model, the proposed policies are: retirement and population policies, investment policy, nongovernmental market policy, welfare services policy and mechanism alteration policy. The results indicate that investment and mechanism alteration policies are the most efficient ones in the long run.

Abstract: 

Value chain expresses two major activities-primary and supporting activities-in manufacturing organizations. The organization strategy should cover different strategic issues, considering factors affecting them and based on strategy issues analysis lead to more strategic synergy between main and supporting activities. This research includes dynamic analysis of strategic issues in lubricating oil manufacturing industry to identify main affecting factors required to revise the company’ s strategy. Since there are a wide range of strategic issues, the value chain was used as a tool to categorize the analysis. Basic causes as well as main intermediate variables were identified and their statuses were specified in Porter’ s value chain. Finally, the number and weight of each main causes of organization strategic issues were analyzed using AHP statistical method which enables the organization to focus on issues of greater importance. The results of this research can be used as a useful and efficient tool for choosing the most proper strategy for increasing organization efficiency.

Abstract: 

The aim of this research is study of relationship between domains of job enrichment with job engagement and propensity to leave of employees. The study was a descriptive correlation. The population in this research is all employers of education and culture organization in rafsanjan that are 154 people which 110 people have been selected. in this researchwere used three questionnaire of job enrichment‚ Salovana and Schaufeli’ s job engagement‚ and the propensity to leave. The reliability of job enrichment‚ job engagement and the propensity to leave questionnaires are 0/74‚ 0/962 and 0/936. Analyzing data shows that there is a relation between job enrichment and its factors with employers job engagement. the findings of research also shows that there is a relation between job enrichment and its factors with employers propensity to leave on the base of results we propose that managers attention more to the job enrichment and job engagement and for decreasing the employers propensity to leave attention more to the job enrichment and job engagement factors.

Abstract: 

Creating customer loyalty is a concept in today's business because the main component of organizational success have become loyal customers, in which have been attracted more attention. Loyal customers buy more and are generally useful tool for advertising. As a result, today's organizations seek to identify and manage loyalty as an effective methods and patterns. Present research by using the model of Taylor et al. (2004); the relationships between the six variables: satisfaction, value, resistance to change, influence, trust and brand equity, attitudinal and behavioral customer loyalty in Cosmetic-Hygienic markets tries to review and prioritize the factors that have the greatest impact on loyal customers. Accordingly the model proposed twelve hypotheses. The instrument used for data collection was a questionnaire to 384 women between the ages of 18 and 60 years of Cosmetic-Hygienic consumer in five sectors (clusters) with a homogeneous distribution in Tehran. The software of SPSS has been utilized and ultimately, all hypotheses were confirmed.
