The research tools were Seraj Zadeh’, s religious attitudes questionnaire and social phobia inventory of connor. The results showed that there is an inverse and significant relationship between religious attitudes and social anxiety. All of the dimentions of religious attitudes were in significant relation with social anxiety but the experimental one. The consequential dimension was in significant and direct relation with social anxiety while the belief and ritualistic dimensions are in significant and inverse relation with social anxiety.
