Introduction: Different parts of walnut plants are used in traditional medicine and in the treatment of various diseases, including diabetes. Considering the role of various stresses in diabetes and the side effects of chemical drugs in the treatment of this disease, the present study was conducted to investigate the effect of Walnut leaf hydroalcholic extract on lipid profiles in swine stressed diabetic rats. Materials and Methods: This experimental study was performed on 50 adult male rats divided into 5 groups: control, diabetic, diabetic, walnut leaf extract (200 mg / kg), diabetic with swimming stress at 15 ° C, and diabetic treatment with swimming stress and walnut leaf extract. At the end of the 21 day follow up, weighing and blood sampling of animals, serum levels of triglyceride, total cholesterol, LDL and HDL were measured using SPSS-18 software, ANOVA and Tukey tests, and significant differences in the level of data P <0. 01 was considered. Results: The results showed that diabetes and diabetes with swimming stress caused a significant decrease in weight and serum levels of HDL in the level of P <0. 01, and a significant increase in serum levels of triglyceride, total cholesterol, LDL in the level of P <0. 001 compared to the control group, while the extract of Walnut leaves Significant increase in HDL levels was observed at P <0. 01 level at P <0. 01 and a significant decrease in serum triglyceride, total cholesterol and LDL levels at P <0. 001 in diabetic and swimming stressed animals. Conclusion: The results showed that swimming stress and diabetes probably increased the level of triglycerides, total cholesterol and LDL, and decreased HDL in the blood, due to increased oxidant compounds, and the walnut leaf extract would probably correct these changes through the increase of antioxidants in the body.
