RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN DOCUMENTATION STYLE AND ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION AND THAT OF EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT

Abstract

 Educational achievement is affected by many factors which can be examined in two broad categories: individual differences and educational systems. Individual differences refer to personal traits such as motivation and DOCUMENTATION STYLE. This study was done to examine relationship between instructor style and ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION in STUDENTS. The sample included 400 STUDENTS of IAU, Qom branch chosen through simple random method. To gather data, ASQ and Hermand’s ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION questionnaires and also GPA of STUDENTS were used. To analyze data, descriptive and inferential statistics were used. Results indicated that there was not significant correlation between instructor style and its components and EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT. There was significant correlation between EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT and ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION. There was significant difference between boys and girls in respect to instructor style. They were not different in respect to ACHIEVEMENT MOTIVATION.
