Title

THE RELATION BETWEEN ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIORS AND THE PERFORMANCE OF EMPLOYEES

Abstract

 In this paper, the relation between ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIORS and the performance of employees will be studied in Zanjan Governor during 2009 to promote the performance of employee and to examine the citizenship behaviors affecting the employee performance. The research hypotheses are taken to do so. This research is a descriptive and applied one done by correlation method. The data are collected through a survey approach. To do the research, the employees of Zanjan governor including 4 deputies were selected as statistical community. A 22-question questionnaire selected to evaluate the variables of ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIORS on Likert Spectrum. To measure the performance of employee, an anal evaluation scores are used. The validity of the questionnaire is examined and its reliability is calculated 85% by using Cronbach Alpha method. In order to do statistical calculations, SPSS software and the tests of Correlation, Regression and Path Analysis are used. At last, the findings represented that all hypotheses are confirmed and there is a direct and significant relation about 0.52 between ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIORS and the performance of employees.
