Abstract:

The last result of modern education in midwifery, is defined by learning rate. Recognition of performance obstacles and its removal is caused to promoting clinical education quality. The aim of this study was to determine of midwifery students achieving rate to learning minimums in Specialty Units (clinic and gynecology units) and its performance obstacles. In this descriptive study, all of last term midwifery students were selected through convenience sampling method. Data colletion tools were 2 questionnaires related to learning minimums were in traineeship-internship courses. The data was analyzed by SPSS software as frequency distribution and total evaluating was done by multigrades scale as desired, relatively desired and undesired. Rate of gaining to learning minimums in 20 percent and 40 percent of items in Gynecology unit was reported desired and relatively desired. Rate of gaining to learning minimums in 8.33 percent and 33.33 percent of items in clinic unit was reported desired and relatively desired. Obstacles of learning performance in two midwifery units include: doing tasks with intern and resident, many students in every unit, inappropriate selected clinical environment, respectively. Therefore it is necessary that rewised educational minimums and then regarding to gainied nature of every clinical skills were defined again and adjustd coincide with students requirement and also strategy for removal of Performance Obstacles. For example selecting of appropriated clinical environment and using ineducatinal hospitals in education and reeducational courses are used for promotion of clinical traing skills.
